Anna’ Stampin’ Cave – Celebrate You with Go For Greece Training Group Blog HopHello everyone and welcome to my blog. We are super excited to share with you an array of creations showcasing products from Stampin’ Up! Annual and Occasions (Spring-Summer in the UK) catalogues (and Sale-A-Bration freebies too). We hope you find great inspiration from our projects. You are currently visiting Anna Krol from the United Kingdom.
Sale-a-bration is coming to an end and today I’ve got for you beautiful, clean & simple card using Amazing You Stamp Set and Celebrate You Thinlits Dies – both of which you can still earn FREE (Sale-a-bration ends on 31st March).
But there’s also something you may don’t know about Celebrate You Thinlits Dies – they are carrying over to the new Stampin’ Up! 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue!! But why pay for something if you can gave it for FREE, right?
Let’s Celebrate card dimensions:
– Berry Burst cardstock: 11-6/8″ x 4-1/8″ scored in half at 5-7/8″ (29.7 x 10.5 cm scored in half at 14.8 cm)
– Whisper White cardstock: 3-5/8″ x 5-3/8″ (9.3 cm x 13.6 cm)
– Whisper White cardstock (for inside): 3″ x 4-5/8″ (7.6 cm x 11.7 cm)
– A piece of watercolour paper for Stamping
– A strip of Gold Foil cardstock for die cutting
– Gold 1/8″ Ribbon: 8″ approximately
First, I stamped my flower on a piece of watercolour paper in Versamark, heat embossed it in gold, and fussy cut it (without leaves).
To paint the flower I’ve used aqua painter. For the first layer of colour I chose Powder Pink ink pad. Once it dried, I’ve used Berry Burst ink pad to add more depth to the petals.
I took a Whisper White panel, decided where my flower will be placed, and using Stamp-a-ma-jig I stamped leaves in Lemon Lime Twist. Next, I stamped over them with Pear Pizzazz to darken them a bit and also stamped more leaves in Pear Pizzaz.
Using dry brush I picked some of that Berry Burst ink, flicked it over the Whisper White panel and assembled my card before adding the flower.
I cut a piece of Gold 1/8″ Ribbon (briefly 8″), added it underneath the flower and adhered it to the card base with dimensionals.
For the sentiment I die cut the word “celebrate” from Celebrate You Thinlits Dies in gold foil and also stamped “Let’s” from Amazing You Stamp Set in Powder Pink next to the flower. And that’s my card for today.
I really hope you enjoyed visiting my blog today and I would love to encourage you to hop along with us and see the rest of beautiful projects designed by amazing artists. Please be sure to continue to hop using the list below. You don’t want to miss any!

Hello everyone! Welcome to the monthly Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop. This month’s theme is Easter/Spring. You are currently visiting Anna Krol from the United Kingdom.
I have to admit I am addicted. I’m addicted to all things that are related to Bible journaling and Bible scriptures art. And every time Stampin’ Up! release a set that includes Bible verses it always ends up in my shopping cart. I love to use them either in my Journaling Bible or to create cards of encouragement and hope.
And today I’ve got for you very simple card, showcasing beautiful Hold On To Hope Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up!
This stamp set comes with coordinating dies called Cross Of Hope Framelits Dies. And if you buy them as a BUNDLE you will instantly save 10% on your purchase.
Today I only used stamp set and here’s my card –
Hold On To Hope card dimensions:
Whisper White Thick cardstock: 11-6/8″ x 4″ scored in half at 5-7/8″ (29.7 x 10.2 cm scored in half at 14.8 cm)
Crumb Cake cardstock: 3-7/8″ x 5-1/2″ (9.8 cm x 14.1 cm)
Whisper White cardstock: 3-3/4″ x 5-3/8″ (9.4 cm x 13.8 cm)
Crumb Cake cardstock for sentiment mat: 1-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ (4.4 cm x 6 cm)
Whisper White cardstock for the sentiment: 1-5/8″ x 2-1/4″ (4.1 cm x 5.7 cm)
a strip of Whisper White cardstock for a banner approx 5/16″ x 2-1/4″ (0.8 cm x 5.8 cm)
Pearl Basic Jewels
To create this lovely card first I created the focal point: I stamped a Bible verse (Isaiah 46:4, from the stamp set) – on a piece of Whisper White cardstock in Pool Party ink and mat it with a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock.
Next, I took a Whisper White panel and using Stamp-a-ma-jig decided where to stamp the beautiful flourish (from the same stamp set) so it won’t be hidden once I adhere my sentiment panel. I stamped it twice, on opposite corners, using Always Artichoke ink pad.
To add some more interest to a rather simple card, I stamped ‘Isaiah 46:4″ in Cherry Cobbler ink on a strip of Whisper White cardstock, snip the ends diagonally and adhered it at an angle to the sentiment. Little pearls in the centres of the flowers finish off the card.

Anna’ Stampin’ Cave – Petal Palette Bundle – When In Doubt Add Glitter
Hello everyone. Today I’ve got for you another card from the bedazzled series. You can see previous cards here and here.
I’m not a girly girl, I’m not crazy about pink or bling or glitter and all that jazz, but I came up with this idea accidentally (you can read about it here) and completely fell in love.
Card dimensions:
Smoky Slate cardstock: 11-6/8″ x 4-1/8″ scored in half at 5-7/8″ (29.7 x 10.5 cm scored in half at 14.8 cm)
Bermuda Bay cardstock: 3-15/16″ x 5-9/16″
Shimmery White cardstock: 3-7/8″ x 5-″
a piece of White Vellum and Silver Glimmer Paper for die cutting
Smoky Slate banner piece: 2-1/2″ x 11/16″
Bermuda Bay banner piece: 2-1/4″ x 1″
First, I created my watercolour background. I stamped roses from Petal Palette Stamp Set in Basic Black Archival ink, which is perfect to work with watercolours. I’ve used Bermuda Bay Ink Pad to colour in all my flowers. For leaves, I’ve used Old Olive with a hint of Lemon Lime Twist Ink Pad. Next, I sponged the whole panel using Smoky Slate Ink Pad and Stamping Sponge.
My favourite technique with a sponged background is to flick water all over it and let ink to react with water to create a distressed look.
I’ve used Embossing Buddy, antistatic pouch, to remove the static or any oil from the panel, flicked some more water on the background, sprinkled with Silver Emboss Powder and heat set it. Added more sprinkles/embossing until happy.
I reheat my embossing on the panel, cover it with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, tap off the excess and heat set it again. Don’t you just love these ‘dazzling’ speckles?!
I adhered my background panel to Bermuda Bay mat and next to Smoky Slate card base. Now to jazz it up a little.
I’ve used Petals & More Thinlits Dies to die cut few elements for my card. I die cut two branches: one from vellum and one from Silver Glimmer Paper. I also die cut a filigree banner from Silver Glimmer Paper.
This square frame was actually a leftover from a different project (lying around) and it was just perfect fit.
I played a bit with a placing of all my elements, and once I was happy I adhered them to the card.
I am really chuffed how this card turned out. Such a shame it’s so hard to photograph and to show all the sparkle in the photo. But below you can see a ‘boomerang’ from my Instagram from when I created the background piece. The shimmer is just mesmerising!!

Anna’ Stampin’ Cave – Petal Palette Split Background 1 For 2 for Kylie Bertucci’s International Project Highlights
Thanks for coming to my blog today! We are being highlighted internationally by Kylie Bertucci and you are able to VOTE for my project. The top ten winners will get to be part of an international blog hop so please vote for my project. My project is under number 7!You can do it here or use a button at the end of my post.
Our theme for this highlight is, again, ‘Favourite Sale-a-bration Or Occasions Catalogue Products’ – because they are so amazing!! Last time I’ve used my ever favourite medium: Brusho Crystal Colour – you can check that post HERE.
This time, however, I decided to use a stamp set I seem to be using a lot lately, called Petal Palette. And this is also my second project in ‘Bedazzled‘ series, as I have a thing (or two lol) for a glitter lately too haha
Dimensions for both cards:
card base: 11-6/8″ x 4-1/8″ scored in half at 5-7/8″ (29.7 x 10.5 cm scored in half at 14.8 cm) – Whisper White Thick & Very Vanilla cardstock
Shimmery White cardstock: 4-1/4″ x 5-3/4″ (10.8 cm x 14.6 cm)
Soft Sky cardstock: 3-2/8″ x 4-1/8″ (8.26 cm x 10.5 cm)
Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper: narrow, long strip – 4-1/2″ x 1/2″ (11.4 cm x 1.3 cm) approx
First I created the background. I didn’t have a plan for my cards yet, I just played – but this is how many of projects start.
I stamped the cluster of roses from Petal Palettes Stamp Set all over the piece of Shimmery White cardstock using Basic Black Archival ink pad. Next, I watercoloured them. I’ve used my ink pads as palettes: Powder Pink with Blushing Bride for roses and Pear Pizzazz with Old Olive for leaves.
When my piece dried, I decided I want to add some colour to the background. I’ve used a sponge dauber to add Versamark ink to my flowers and let it dry. Next, I sponged Soft Sky ink over my piece. Versamark helped my roses not to be stained with blue ink, but it also allowed the blueish hue to make it’s ‘mark’ (hope you know what I mean).
Once happy with the background, I flicked some water droplets on and picked them up with a paper towel. I truly love subtle texture that those droplets create.
Now the ‘bedazzled’ part: I flicked some more water on my background, sprinkled with clear embossing powder and heat set it. Next, I re-heat it once again, added Dazzling Diamonds Stampin’ Glitter and heat set it again so the glitter stays put. And I cut my piece diagonally to create two cards.
Because of the bold design, I decided to keep the rest of my cards clean & simple.
For first card, I decided to mount my diagonal piece at the very bottom of the card. But first, I stamped the sentiment, with help of Stamp-a-ma-jig, in Basic Black Archival ink.
I stamped it diagonally, just above where the diagonal piece will go and I added a strip of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper just below my sentiment. Next, using Foam Adhesive Strips I adhered my background to the card base
For the second card’s card base I’ve used Very Vanilla thick cardstock and I tweaked the layout slightly.
This time background landed on top of my card and I also cut off the end of my diagonal panel.
I backed it with a piece of Soft Sky cardstock and adhered it to the card base flat with snail adhesive.
I stamped the sentiment at the bottom Right corner of the card base, in Basic Black Archival ink.
I really had fun creating these cards and I hope you like them too. And can you spot soft, blueish shiny speckles of Dazzling Diamond Stampin’ Glitter on my backgrounds? Just yummy!
Thank you so much for visiting my blog today! Make sure you head over to Kylie’s blog to check all lovely projects and vote for your favourites. Hope my project will be among them. My project is under number 7!
